Establishing Expectations

This is my desperate attempt to help my understanding of the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 exam coming on June 4th.  With less than four weeks away I think anything can help at this point.

Ive found that I learn best when I can have the opportunity to teach others.  It tests my knowledge of the material every time I am expected to explain it.  Im assuming others may be in the same boat.  Or, they may learn best when it is explained to them multiple times in different ways.  This blog should help with those who are in the latter category.

With that, I am hoping to use this forum as a place to explain the Learning Outcome Statements that prove themselves to be more difficult than others.  They either have a complex calculation component or a convoluted sense of logic that isnt intuitive to even the most seasoned economist or accountant.

Since the test is quickly approaching I am unsure how much content Ill be able to actively review prior to the exam.  However, in order to stay knowledgeable in the subject matter during the down time after June 4th, I plan on maintaining this site with new content and reviews up until its time to start studying for level 2... or level 1 again (I hope the latter is not the case).
